Btrfly was aiming to re-imagine their dating app to provide simplicity and content focused UI.
The challenge with this type of app is standing out in a crowded market. I designed a simple UI with a clear focus on user storytelling within their profiles. Another challenge was creating a user-friendly experience for introducing premium features - adding real value without being too pushy.

Liking a profile, matching with someone, or receiving a notification about someone nearby - all are enhanced by micro interactions that bridge the gap between the Btrfly app and the physical world.
